I noticed that I put a lot of seasoned musicians on the blog, but not anyone “new”. Now when we think of new musicians we think that because we just discovered them and they’re fairly young they must just be starting out. I know when people discover my work, they figure I just started my company a year or so ago, not knowing that I’ve been making jewelry most of my life and really focusing on it for nearly a decade.
Well I recently discovered Hiatus Kaiyote and I am in love! The band hails from Australia and with Nai Palm on vocals you get this earthy 90’s quality of music. I would catalog them right next to Tricky, PJ Harvey, Erykah Badu and Portishead. A must to listen to!!!
