Okay, so I must admit, you might not want to listen to Candi Staton when you’re in a mood or if a relationship went wrong…or maybe you should. The way she sings her heart out on some of the songs we play in the studio really move us. The amazing arrangements of the folks at Muscle Shoals really bring the feeling home. I mean, can you listen to “Trouble, Heartaches, and Sadness” without feeling your heart move a little?
