It’s so funny because when I write about old school artists we love to listen to in the studio, it’s not a big deal. I think it’s because I didn’t grow up in most of the eras I listen to I don’t really become nostalgic like I do when I listen to music from the 90’s. Well lately when I run around I have Everything But the Girl in my ears, giving me soothing calm melodies. Their album, “Amplified Heart” Is just the best and takes me to a place where I’m just all alone in my head, even if I’m on a train in Brooklyn with thousands of other folk. If you haven’t checked them out, or it’s been a minute (or a decade!), revisit them. You’ll be sooo happy you did.
