Afro. Funk. Afro. That’s what comes to mind when I hear the name Betty Davis. She was a model, a funky singer/songwriter in the 70’s, was briefly married to jazz muscian Miles Davis (and also put him on to the hip music of the time) and laid down a few albums that were pretty alright. Her voice loud demanding voice really puts us in the mood here in the studio.
Useless fact: Betty is wearing the amazing wearable art of Kaisik Wong on her one of her album covers.
